chinesische Mauer / The Great Wall

Am Samstag waren wir mit Nessi auf der beeindruckenden chinesischen Mauer. Wir waren auf dem 3 km langen  Mauerabschnitt von Mutianyu.   Nachdem wir mit der Seilbahn zum 14. von 23 Türmen  hinauf gefahren sind konnten wir sowohl einen restaurierten Teil wie auch ein ursprünglichen Abschnitt bewundern. Da wir es uns einfach gemacht haben und eine Tour gebucht haben gab es dort noch ein asiatisches Mittagessen. Marieke (Holländerin und mit uns auf der Tour) zeigte uns nochmal wie richtig mit Stäbchen gegessen wird. 
Am Abend sind wir mit Marieke zusammen auf einen chinesischen Nachtmarkt. Dort gab es sehr leckeres Essen wie z.B. Schlange, Skorpione, Spinnern, ...
Wir waren zu feige und haben gut duftende Dinge wie chinesische Maultaschen probiert.  Laut Verkäufer waren sie mit  Rindfleisch gefüllt - egal es hat geschmeckt. Und das tollste an dem Markt man kann mit den Fingern essen:-D

On Saturday we went with Nessi to the amazing Great Wall of China. We were at the sektor of Mutianyu. Afterwards we took the cable car to the 14th of 23 towers and could see a restored and an original part. As we took the easy way and booked this tour we had a chinese lunch included. There Marieke (from the Netherlands and with us at the tour) showed us how to use the sticks correctly.
In the evening we went with Marieke to a chinese nightmarket. There were amazing food like snake, skorpions, spider,...
We were to afraid to try it and ate good smelling food. 
The guy told us that it was beef - anyway it tasted very well. And the best point was you only can eat there with your fingers:-D
