Gleich am nächsten morgen ging es mit einem Tuk Tuk zu den Tempeln. Den komplett Tag verbrachten wir mit der Besichtigung der Haupttempel, um am Abend den bewölkten Sonnenuntergang zu sehen. Früh morgens ging es am nächsten Tag zum touristischen Sonnenaufgang mit dem bekannten Angkor Wat im Vordergrund. Leider war es wieder bewölkt. Am dritten Tag haben wir nur noch zwei weiter entferne Tempel angeschaut und zur Abwechslung eine Schmetterlingsfarm. Fazit der drei Tage: wunderschöne Tempel, aber irgendwie sehen sie doch alle gleich aus - Same Same But Different.
After almost 11h bus drive and a corrupt boarder crossing we finally reached reached Siem Reap on Saturday. Directly at the next day we started the sight seeing tour of the temples with a Tuk Tuk. The whole day we visited the most popular temples. In the late afternoon we saw a cloudy sunset. Early in the morning we went to the touristic sunrise with Angkor Wat in the front. Unfortunately it was cloudy again. On the third day we only visited two temples, that are further away, and a butterfly farm. Conclusion of the three day: the temples are amazing, but they do look quite similar - Same Same But Different.
