Lieber spät als nie hier noch unsere Zusammenfassung zu Laos:

Laos ist ein sehr entspanntes Land mit wenig Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dafür kann es mit einer schönen Natur auftrumpfen.
Was uns gefehlt hat, war die Motivation der Menschen. Alles dauerte Stunden. Das Sterben zur Weiterentwicklung fehlte.

Kambodscha hat hingegen erkannt, dass Touristen Geld haben. Und sind Profis es ihnen auf angenehme Weise abzunehmen. 4.000 Riel ansprechen 1 US Dollar. Wobei zu 90% einfach mit Dollar bezahlt wurde, auch die ATMs spuken nur Dollar aus. Es war sehr schwer Dinge zu finden die günstiger waren als 1 $.

Better late than never here our summery of Laos:

Laos is a really relaxed country without many sights but it has great nature. We missed the motivation of the people. Everything took hours. The spirit to develop wasn't strong at all.

Cambodia on the other hand side realised that tourists have money and know how to get it in a nice way. 4.000 Riel are 1 US Dollar. You have to pay almost everything with dollars. Also the ATMs gave you dollar notes. It was relay difficult to find something cheaper than 1 $.
